Posted on December 27, 2020 at 11:05 PM |
The year from Hell:-
extreme drought
extreme heatwaves
extreme bushfires
lots of injured animals needing to be rescued & nursed from all the above catastrophes. Too busy with emergencies to post.
Rescues & Rehabilitation
Posted on October 19, 2017 at 10:40 PM |
We are always busy rescuing animals from life-threatening situations. Some can be adopted straight away but most need nursing and rehabilitation in the safety of our Sanctuary. Some have to learn to trust humans again after experiencing abuse and torture. It is very time consuming but lovely to see them happy again and enjoying life.

We've been really busy as usual taking care of all our special needs animals & helping out with new rescues and rehoming. Today we are welcoming 2 more donkeys to our Sanctuary. A big thankyou to all those who rescued them from neglect & transported them such a long way

He responded really well to antiobiotics & meds and is improving by the date. It sure was touch&go there for awhile. He's had lots of TLC & is making friends at Ozfarmyard & yesterday joined in some play with another dog. His wounds are all healing & he's looking quite handsome now

We've been really busy at ozfarmyard so far this year with lots of animals needing help/rescuing & being nursed back to health. It's such a good feeling to see them becoming healthier and happier even after just a short time at ozfarmyard. Although unfortunately some animals need a lot longer to respond
